A new 3,200 SF house in Tesuque, NM for a couple and their visiting family. Challenging site very small area to build, create wonderful outdoor spaces around the house. Sited on a ridge top to capture incredible views of Jemez Mountains, Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Espanola Valley. House nestled into earth and organized around a central spine / hallway that comes up from the basement level. Open plan Living / Kitchen with a terraced Bedroom wing.

Natural stucco color, blackened and rusted steel, colored concrete, natural stone terracing all augment the existing materials on site. Rain water collection and passive solar techniques utilized. Future art studio planned for forthcoming phase.
