SFCO Administration Offices

Santa Fe, NM
2016-2018

With Design Group

Santa Fe County hired Spears Horn Architects, as lead architect, and the Design Group, as production architects, to renovate the existing ±43,154 SF historic Old Administrative Offices and construct a new ±70,000 SF office building – the new Grant Avenue Complex.

Spears Horn Architects conducted extensive interviews with departments during the Program Phase. The facilities were envisioned to be connected with pedestrian walks and landscaping that would benefit County employees, locals, and tourists. These projects consolidate numerous departments currently spread around Santa Fe. Spears Horn Architects also completed a comprehensive Historical Report documenting the Old Administrative Office (designed by John Gaw Meem, built in 1939) building and site history.
