To provide a safe and secure place for Santa Fe County adults with behavioral health issues (mental illnesses and/or addictions) as well as assisting their families and caregivers to find information and receive assistance in times of crisis, and provide linkage with appropriate community services.

The purpose of this project is to remodel the building located at 2052 Galisteo St to serve as the Behavioral Health Crisis Center “LuSala”. This is a County owned building and currently vacant. The building is to be remodeled to meet the needs of the future Behavioral Health Crisis Center as well for detox services, providing co-located inpatient social detoxification services for up to 30 men and women.
